Only fished 1.5 hours today - cause got tired of turtles stealing bait. Got a 2lb 2oz channel on liver when I first started (about 5:45PM) - then no bites for awhile before turtles found me (they stole about a dozen liver and a dozen Secret-7 before I gave up.

A coworker swears by liver but he uses a special "formula".

Parmesean Cheese
Put this in a ziplock for at least 24 hours in the fridge an he says it'll pickle the livers a little bit and make the stay on the hook longer.
